Story
Ravana’s brother Vibhishana advised surrender and the return of Sita. Spurned, he sought sharan under Ram. Despite doubts, Ram accepted him, stating, ‘One who comes seeking refuge—even if formerly an enemy—is mine.’ Sharanagati becomes policy and principle.
